Iona (Bohan) Liu graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, currently pursuing an MFA degree at the University of Chicago. As an independent artist, she seeks to redefine the concepts of fertility and reproduction across traditional and technological mediums, promoting women's life choices as independent entities. Recently, she held a solo exhibition at Hüten Gallery in Shanghai, China, and is currently exploring the use of feminine symbols from archaeology and burial culture to comment on the statist politics in present-day society.
